Astrology
Ever wonder what those crystal wearing, moon bathing mamas are talking about when they bring up astrological signs? Have you wondered what the stars say about you? Astrology may seem like all fun and games, but as you dig deeper, it does get quite interesting.
Before we get into the Signs of the Zodiac, I’d like to clear up a few myths about astrolgy. Many people’s understanding of astrology is limited to the horoscope columns they find in newspapers and magazines. However, these forecasts are designed purely for entertainment and should not be taken seriously. If they appear accurate, it’s purely coincidental as they have little to do with the true practice of astrology. Here are a few other common myths about astrology that need to be dispelled:
Astrology is not a religion.
It has no affiliation with any religion, satanism, or specific belief system. You can follow any religion and still practice astrology.
Astrology is symbolic.
It does not involve any physical energy emanating from planets, moons, or stars.
Astrology does not predict events.
It can only suggest the possibility of an event occurring or indicate a favorable time for certain activities.
Astrology is a guide.
It serves as a map of your life’s potential. No two individuals born at the exact same time and place will lead identical lives. Astrology underscores the importance of free will and the numerous choices available in shaping your life.
