It didn’t matter if I was the driver or the passenger, I would break out in a cold sweat. I would hear the click of seatbelts and the air felt heavy. I could feel an overwhelming cloud looming over me, reaching for me as every second passed. These driving anxiety affirmations are simple sentences I would repeat to myself over and over through out the day.
